The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the part-time position of Adjunct Instructor for the Floor Covering Installation class at the Clarksville Campus.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Floor Covering Installation class is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students to prepare them for employment in the Floor Covering Installation field. Areas of instruction include tools and equipment used in the flooring industry, safety, and installation of resilient, hardwood, tile and carpet. The Adjunct Instructor must prepare materials needed for course instruction; facilitate an engaging and focused learning environment; monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY: $30.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
