Position Summary
Responsible for classroom, laboratory, and related instruction, as well as curriculum development for courses within the Electrical Engineering Technology program. This position serves the needs of the College, division, faculty, and students and reports to the Engineering Systems Technology Department Head.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field, or an associate’s degree in a qualifying field with certifications, or an associate’s degree in a qualifying field and 2 years applicable work experience, or nationally recognized certification within subject matter OR by exception. Teaching Experience is a plus.
Qualifying Fields: Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Technical related degree
Special requirements and conditions
A flexible schedule and some travel are required; a valid vehicle operator’s license is necessary.
Must be able to work with dual-enrollment high school students (a background check and fingerprinting will be required).
Projected Salary Range:
Instructor: $40,502 - $49,610
Assistant Professor: $45,040 - $56,300
*Pay will be determined based on experience and education in accordance with the salary guidelines of the Tennessee Board of Regents. To ensure consideration, all relevant work experience must be included in the application.*
