Title: Temporary Part-time (TPT) Academic Scheduling Specialist

Pay Rate: $21.20 per hour
*If you are a PSCC Student and eligible for the Student Employment Program, you will be paid on experience and the rates are $14.00 (no experience), $15.00 (6 months experience) and $16.00 (9 months experience)*.
Work Hours: 20 hours per week
Position Summary: This position supports academic scheduling processes, including developing and implementing the academic course schedule, managing the use of academic spaces, and developing academic calendars. The position requires technical abilities to use and manage databases as well as to interface between multiple databases. Candidates would need to be able to learn quickly, pay attention to details, and communicate across the College to support the necessary processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Academic Scheduling Coordinator with the following processes:
• Implementing multiple academic course scheduling processes in multiple software platforms
• Managing academic space usage by coordinating with other academic and non-academic units
• Developing academic calendars in coordination with other divisions of the College

Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Proficiency with Office 365 applications - with an emphasis on Excel's advanced features.
• Work experience that includes learning of and regular use of computer software and/or database management, database administration, and system database interface, allowing multiple database communication.
