The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is Tennessee's largest higher education system, governing 40 post-secondary educational institutions with over 200 teaching locations. The TBR system includes 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs to students across the state, country and world.
Dyersburg State Community College invites applications for surgical technology adjunct instructors for classes held in Covington and clinical for the surrounding areas. This position is focused on the clinical setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach assigned courses/clinical for discipline; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning and maintain class records. Assignment will be determined upon the needs of an instructor at our clinical sites.
Working Conditions:
Desk work and surgical area; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office and hospital/surgical area settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
