The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is Tennessee's largest higher education system, governing 40 post-secondary educational institutions with over 200 teaching locations. The TBR system includes 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs to students across the state, country and world.
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time, non-exempt position of Admissions Associate/Recruiter.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent. Post-Secondary technical diploma preferred.
• Strong abilities in interpersonal skills, organization, reporting, and record keeping necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
GENERAL DUTIES
•Excellent customer service skills for greeting visitors, interacting with the public and assisting with tours is crucial
Provide general guidance to prospective students about admissions/registration
Perform daily Admissions and Banner processes along with other Student Services staff
Assist with new student orientation, graduation, student recognition programs and other college events as needed
Travel in a six-county area assisting admissions with informing the public of the availability of TCAT Crump’s programs
Distribute promotional materials, set up and manage display booths at special events like fairs, sporting events, and festivals
Other duties as assigned
SALARY: $27,129-$33,848 (Grade 4): Commensurate with Tennessee College of Applied Technology salary guidelines
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Continuous use of computer
• Normal standing, sitting, and walking
• Lifting of boxes weighing approximately 40 lbs
• Operating a motor vehicle to travel within the college service area and in other areas as needed
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel as necessary
