Job Summary
The individual is responsible for a range of duties, including admissions and recruiting of the Truck Driving Program, as well as the following Allied Health programs: Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Central Sterile Processing Technology, Patient Care Technology/Medical Assisting, and other Allied-Health related programs that may be developed at TCAT Jackson and its extension campuses. The Allied Health and Truck Driving Admissions Associate will work under the supervision of the Student Services Coordinator, Vice President of Student Services, and the Director of Nursing and Allied Health.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Technical Diploma or A.S. degree preferred, and three (3) years of office work required. Experience in an allied health profession preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Possesses good customer service skills, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Responsible for admissions for Truck Driving and Allied Health programs, including answering phone calls, assisting with walk-ins, disseminating information regarding the programs available, providing tours of the College, and assisting with New Student Orientation.
• Disseminate information to the public regarding the college’s Truck Driving and Allied Health program offerings, services, policies, and functions.
• Review student applications and maintain physical and electronic student files.
• Responsible for filing, scanning, organizing, and creating new student folders.
• Assist the Director of Nursing and Allied Health by collecting and tracking clinical health documents.
• Assist team members when necessary to ensure the success of the department.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
