Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. General Function:
Serves as a senior leader in the Division of Student Success, providing strategic oversight of student support services, including Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, the Dean of Students Office, and success technologies. Leads initiatives to enhance student retention, achievement, and engagement through data-informed strategies, technology integration, and cross-campus collaboration. Ensures alignment with institutional goals and compliance with federal, state, and accrediting standards while promoting a student-centered, inclusive environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree earned from a regionally accredited institution with seven years of leadership experience in Student Affairs. Including experience with the successful implementation and management of student success technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience in higher education including leadership roles in one or more student service areas such as financial aid, admissions, student records, student engagement and retention, student success coaching, career services, or mentoring and leading institution-wide student initiatives or services.
