Job Summary

The overall purpose of this job is to direct the Cumberland Business Incubator to success and represent Roane State Community College locally and throughout the Upper Cumberland region, State and National levels.

Job Duties

  • Direct the operations of the Cumberland Business Incubator (CBI) to provide an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Upper Cumberland Region.
  • Direct the operations of the Maker Space within the Cumberland Business Incubator.
  • Direct STEM CAMP for Middle School students.
  • Maintain facilities.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Present to the Cumberland Business Incubator Steering Committee.
  • Represent Roane State Community College in the Community.
  • Represent Roane State Community College at Regional, State and National levels.
  • RSCC Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) to provide noncredit opportunities for adults to continue learning. 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Five plus years teaching experience from middle school students through adults.
Five plus years successful business ownership with employees and managing all aspects of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Professional Business Coach with 10+ years experience,
Project Management Certification with 10+ years managing projects
