Job Summary

The COE Compliance Coordinator is a part-time position that will be responsible for overseeing all institutional accreditation activities to ensure compliance with the standards of the Council on Occupational Education. This position will lead the development and coordination of accreditation reports; monitors institutional effectiveness; and support continuous improvement initiatives across all campuses and programs. The COE Compliance Coordinator has the authority to require programs and departments to submit data, documentation, and reports and set deadlines and ensure corrective action plans are developed.

Job Duties

• Review institutional policies, programs, and records to ensure compliance with COE accreditation standards

• Coordinate the preparation and organization of COE documentation related to Conditions of Accreditation and Standards.

• Monitor compliance with Standard Criteria from the Handbook of Accreditation

• Provide guidance and training to campus administrators, faculty, and staff on accreditation expectations.

• Provide weekly written reports to the President and Leadership Team on compliance status, deadlines, risks, or areas of concern.

• Immediately report to the President if a compliance issue is identified that risk the institutions accreditation status.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, 5 years’ experience in post-secondary career and technical education in a COE Accredited organization.
• Ability to interpret policies, standards, and regulations,
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and one on one and group settings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Use of computer
• Normal standing, sitting, and walking
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs.
• Operate a motor vehicle to travel within the college service area and in other areas as needed.
