Title: Creative Media Producer

Job Summary

The Creative Media Producer will serve as the lead creator for the college’s visual and digital marketing needs, shaping compelling content that reflects the college’s innovation, top-rated academics, and future-focused vision. This role is responsible for designing eye-catching graphics, producing dynamic social media content, and capturing photography and short-form video to tell the college’s story across multiple platforms. The Creative Media Producer will collaborate closely with the Communications and Marketing team to execute campaigns, build brand awareness, and drive engagement, while ensuring creative consistency and forward-thinking design practices.

Job Duties

  • Design and produce high-quality visual content for digital platforms, print materials, advertising, and promotional campaigns. 
  • Create and manage engaging social media content, including graphics, photography, short-form video, and motion graphics. 
  • Actively monitor and engage on official JSCC social media platforms, driving follower engagement and responses. 
  • Capture campus events, activities, and student life through photography and videography for marketing and communication purposes. 
  • Develop creative assets that support strategic initiatives around recruitment, enrollment, brand development, and student engagement. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Communications and Marketing team to implement content calendars and marketing strategies. 
  • Ensure visual brand consistency across all materials, serving as an internal brand ambassador to maintain branding integrity. 
  • Monitor emerging trends in design, content creation, and social media to continuously enhance the college’s visual presence. 
  • Organize, archive, and maintain a digital asset library of photo, video, and design files. 
  • Coordinate with external vendors when needed for print production, promotional items, or specialized creative services. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in graphic design, social media content creation, or multimedia production.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in graphic design, social media content creation, or multimedia production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.
• Experience producing content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Working knowledge of photography required, video editing skills a plus.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative versatility across print and digital formats.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines for digital content (WCAG standards).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team or work alone without close supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Rate:  $41,984 - $52,480 (Annual salary depending on eligible experience, which is defined by the current compensation plan.)
