Job Summary
• Work closely with faculty, staff, industry partners, and accrediting bodies to coordinate the design, review, and revision of academic programs and courses to ensure they meet educational standards and industry needs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and institutional policies.
• Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs and student learning outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to faculty in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum changes, accreditation reports, and compliance documentation.
• Organize and facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff related to curriculum and compliance.
• Implement ongoing professional development and training for adjunct, substitute, and full-time faculty
• Assist with the evaluation of faculty performance, identify areas for improvement in academic programs and implement strategies to enhance curriculum quality and compliance.
• Performs all other duties assigned by the Vice President and President.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum development, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in curriculum development, academic compliance, or a related area in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Demonstrated abilities in leadership, human relations, communication skills (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices in curriculum development.
