Job Summary
Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville is accepting applications for the position of Dental Assisting Instructor. This position works 37.5 hours per week.
To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution, an Associates Degree may be considered
Must have a minimum of three (3) years current experience in the dental assisting field
Must hold current CDA and RDA certifications
Current two (2) year Healthcare Provider and CPR
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior Teaching experience
• TN certified nitrous oxide and coronal polishing
• Be familiar with program compliance affiliate CODA (under ADA)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Possess organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective instructor
• Demonstrated effective communication and organization skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills including general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
