Job Summary

Fulfill duties and responsibilities associated with a full-time tenure track faculty position (RSCC PA-24-01) including providing instruction (classroom, lab, and/or clinical) in various levels of EMS courses (basic, advanced, and/or paramedic) as assigned.

Anticipated begin date Fall semester 2026.

Job Duties

  • Fulfill duties and responsibilities associated with a full-time tenure track faculty position (RSCC PA-24-01) including providing instruction (classroom, lab, and/or clinical) in various levels of EMS courses (basic, advanced, and/or paramedic) as assigned.
  • Serve on assigned college and programmatic committees as assigned.
  • Participate in the EMS Advisory Committee.
  • Advise students as assigned.
  • Participate in college and programmatic accreditation activities. - (Essential)

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree required.
Currently licensed as TN paramedic with Instructor Coordinator credential.
Minimum 2 yrs pre-hospital experience.
Current certification as CPR instructor.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in EMS instruction preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
