Title: Enterprise Applications Analyst
Institution: Volunteer State Community College
Job Summary:
Provide programming and administrative support for processes of the application systems of the college to allow users to complete their work in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Duties:
Design, write, modify and/or implement in-house and vendor-supplied application systems and programs using standard programming, query, and scripting languages. Develop understandable and detailed procedure documentation. Analyze and determine feasibility of programming requests, make appropriate recommendations. Research solutions to processes, procedures, programming issues, and problems. Administration of ERP and integrated 3rd party systems in a Ellucian Banner environment. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in an information systems related discipline with three (3) years of relational database programming experience using SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Pro C; OR Associates degree in an information systems related discipline and five (5) years of relational database programming experience using SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Pro C.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience writing programs in an Oracle and/or Ellucian Banner environment.
Experience in relational database programming using other object-oriented based programming languages.
Experience in the administration, designing, documenting, implementing, and/or supporting of ERP and integrated 3rd party computer systems.
Experience in developing dynamic web applications using languages such as HTML or PHP.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Ability to manage several tasks at one time, prioritize, and react appropriately to emergency situations.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate effectively and work with a variety of computer users at different levels of expertise.
Pay Rate: $62,385 - $77,981 annual salary depending on experience
