Job Summary
This is a full-time position, working under the general supervision of the Grounds Manager or designee. The Grounds Worker is responsible for the maintenance and improvements of campus grounds, landscaping, streets, and walks.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscape methods.
• Interpersonal and public relations communication skills; ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal skills.
• Ability to move throughout the campus and lift up to 50-75 lbs.
• Operate commercial lawn equipment
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Pay Rate: $26,178 - $31,414 (Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.)
