Job Summary
The HR-Payroll temp position will directly assist the Director for Human Resources and Director for Payroll Services with a wide range of projects related to recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, and training/development and numerous payroll related activities, including reconciliations, adjustments and testing.
Depending on circumstances, remote work may be an option.

• Experience in office setting;
• Related work experience
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in higher education or government setting.
• Experience working in Human Resource Systems
• Knowledge of payroll processes
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ability to prepare written procedures and communications.
• Ability and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to create or update documents paying close attention to detail and accuracy.
• A willingness and passion to learn new hardware and software systems that are consistent with duties
• Ability to effectively analyze data and inquiries, think critically, and make appropriate decisions
