Title: Instructor, Architectural Design Technology – Full-time (Temporary)

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Architectural Design Technology.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach courses on-ground at the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Other instructional delivery modes, such as online, hybrid or web-enhanced, taught from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, may be assigned based on operational needs, as determined by the College. Perform job duties from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent student experiences. Utilizing the college’s learning management system, provide updated accurate and updated course materials to students. Submit updated course syllabi prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours except on weekends.

Complete all required reports such as student engagement, Early Alerts, progress reports and grade submissions. Administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Engage in departmental institutional effectiveness activities. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Serve as academic advisor to students as assigned. Comply with all college and TBR policies and guidelines. This position will be based on the White Bridge Road campus with teaching assignments primarily at the White Bridge Road campus. Additional teaching assignments are possible at any campus or site at which NSCC instruction takes place.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College level teaching experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with REVIT and familiarity with Lumion Rendering software. Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated understanding of the community college mission and needs of the student population.

Position Details: This is a full-time, temporary faculty position for the Spring semester 2026

Rate of Pay: $43,694 - $54,618 annually, depending on experience. Salary will be prorated for the specified term in accordance with institutional policies.
