This is a full-time, academic year, tenure-track position in Drama and Theater. The position reports to the Dean of Arts, Sciences, & Technologies. Position filled pending budget approval at TBR Board Meeting in June 2024.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary: Desk work; travel will be required for college or program activities. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office and performance settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Theatre/Drama from a regionally accredited institution.
Teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience in leading/directing theater performances.
Preference will be given to candidates with 18 graduate hours in an additional subject area that supports the general education core.
Salary Range: $41,670-$50,500. Pay varies based on highest degree attained and prior teaching experience.
