Office Location: TCAT - McMinnville, 241 Vo Tech Dr., McMinnville, TN 37110
Hours: Monday through Thursday 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (16 hours/week)
Pay: $30/hour

General Duties:
This position will help ensure the stable operation of the computer networks and educational courseware products across all campuses. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The position will also analyze and resolve end-user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training where required.
The IT Specialist reports to the President and is responsible for helping support the information technology needs on the campus along with supporting other evening institutional needs.
Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions
The IT Specialist is responsible to perform the following:
Background checks will be completed on all new hires. Employees will be asked to sign a background release authorizing TCAT - McMinnville to complete a background check which will include the following: Sex Offender Registry, County Criminal & Federal Criminal.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions (ADA REQUIREMENTS)
Walking, climbing, bending and stooping. Work performed in office, testing center and classroom environments. Position requires the use of a computer.
Sedentary Work – Walking or standing to a significant degree; sitting for brief periods of time; be able to bend and stoop; use body members (arms, hands, fingers).
SALARY: Commensurate with experience, education and training according to Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
