Job Summary
Reporting to the RCAM Operations Director, the Machine Shop Coordinator & Apprenticeship Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering standardized lab content to support industrial training programs in a hands-on lab environment.
Job Duties
• Develop and deliver industrial lab training content to stake holders.
• Serve as subject matter expert for development of advanced manufacturing program and Machine Tool Apprenticeship.
• Facilitate improvement in process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Adhere to RCAM Schedule and closure which may differ from other Northeast State schedules and closures
• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in an industrial setting or other relevant qualifying experience as approved by the RCAM Operations Director.
• Experience in Mastercam for CNC machine programming.
• Craft qualified at the journey level commensurate with teaching assignments
• Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing
• Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Technology Skills: MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
• Ability to make sound decisions with limited supervision
• Ability to learn and apply new technology in the lab environment
• Ability to coordinate and deliver online curriculum
