JOB SUMMARY
The primary role of the Math Lab Student Tutor is to provide content-specific assistance in the learning process to individuals or groups of students. This position requires the student employee to have excellent communication, social skills and the ability to adapt his or her teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.

Tutors may be asked to assist with additional tasks to support various departments in the college.
EQUIPMENT
Work activities routinely involves work with personal computers and peripheral devices. Math lab tutoring involves moving between lab computers and circulating the room to proctor students.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge in Statistics, Precalculus, or Calculus.

JOB LOCATION
Math Lab Tutors will be assigned to either the main campus of Cleveland State or the McMinn Higher Education Center in Athens.
