The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is Tennessee's largest higher education system, governing 40 post-secondary educational institutions with over 200 teaching locations. The TBR system includes 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs to students across the state, country and world.
The Radiologic Technology Faculty and Clinical Coordinator is a full-time faculty position responsible for the organization, supervision, and continuous improvement of clinical education within the Radiologic Technology program. This role ensures that students receive high-quality, hands-on clinical experiences that align with program goals and accreditation standards.
Job Duties
Correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectiveness.
Participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction.
Working collaboratively with program director and program faculty to ensure students are meeting the learning outcomes.
Supporting the program director to assure effective program operations.
Participating in the accreditation and assessment processes of the program and the college.
Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
Maintaining current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress.
Serving as assigned on program and college committees.
Participating in college/program recruitment activities.
Serving as a faculty advisor.
Minimum Qualifications
• Holds an associate’s degree with a major in Rad Tech and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with date of completion in 24 months or less from date of hire. • Two years’ experience in the professional discipline. • Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and academic advising. • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography. • Current AHA CPR or ability to complete prior to hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
