Job Summary

The Statewide Dual Credit (SDC) Grader completes independent work grading statewide dual credit exams in assigned course shells using a pre-determined rubric. The grader will provide comments and a grade in the LMS for each submission. Grading takes place at the end of each semester.

Job Duties

  • 95% - Processes 1. Grade all assigned students’ submissions using a pre-determined rubric. 2. Enter comments and grades in the LMS for each submission. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Communication and Reporting 1. Maintain a Grader Log indicating the dates and times of grading, number of students graded, and number of students with no or irrelevant submissions for each course code. 2. Report any suspicion of plagiarism by providing course code, student name and ID number, and link to potential source to the EPSO Systems Administrator. 3. Provide any other reporting, as needed, to support the SDC grading process. 4. Participate in onboarding and grader standardization meetings. - (Marginal)

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience grading student submissions in similar college credit bearing exams
• Knowledge of or experience using inclusive pedagogy or culturally competent teaching practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Content area expertise in assessing collegiate-level student work and/or experience teaching a similar postsecondary course with in a postsecondary institution or dual enrollment/dual credit environment
• Excellent organizational skills/ability to plan efficient workstreams
• Comfort collaborating online using Microsoft Teams and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
