POSITION SUMMARY
Serves as the first point of contact for students and is responsible for taking payments, office communications, data entry, problem solving and general office work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide customer services such as taking payments, answering phone calls, emails, and other office communications. Reconcile accounts on a monthly and yearly basis. Make entries to accounts and data entry. Process fee waivers. Facilitate and track students on payment plans for past due accounts. Assist office administrators with assigned tasks and special projects.
Scan departmental records to the document management system. Test system upgrades. General office work such as filing, sorting mail, maintaining office calendars, etc. Cross-train in other office tasks and have general knowledge of overall office operations. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Intermediate computer skills
Customer service experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Cash handling experience
Banner experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to learn and comprehend basic accounting principles. Ability to handle cash. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to balance competing priorities and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with a diverse group of individuals, both internal and external.

Rate of Pay: $30,751.50 - $36,894.00 depending on experience
