Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. Must be able to pass a background check. Experience processing documents where attention to detail was required. Experience with basic finances including the ability to manage a balance sheet.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Experience with event planning. Work experience in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to exercise good judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions. Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to foster collegial relationships within and outside the department. Supportive and client-centered approach to student services, especially when assisting students with developmental, emotional, physical, or learning differences. Ability to travel to local high schools and overnight to conferences.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more and set up display tables at recruiting events. Ability to give tours of TCAT Athens’ campuses. Ability to give presentations as part of the recruiting process. Ability to travel.
