Title: Technical Clerk, Clarksville Campus (Part-time Regular)

POSITION SUMMARY
To execute and support the requirements for administering and scoring tests.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proctors online and conventional tests. Updates and maintains a manual of test procedure guidelines and passwords. Interprets placement test results for individuals and appropriate departments. Maintains security and accountability of tests. Monitors examinees to insure a secure and quiet test environment. Handles and reports irregularities to supervisor.

Communicates necessary testing guidelines and information to examinees. Maintains an effective working relationship with the public and other employees. Receives and corresponds to inquiries about proctoring services for Independent Study customers and the Tennessee Board of Regents Online Degree Program. Enters Compass scores into the College’s Banner database. Updates the NET manual and administers the Nurses Entrance Examination. Complies with College and TBR policies and guidelines. Performs other duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or educational equivalent required.

Two years of related or customer service experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience proctoring academic tests and/or experience working in higher education environment.

Proficient with Microsoft applications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public. Ability to evaluate situations, makes decisions and work effectively as a team member. Ability to accept supervision.

Rate of Pay: $19,897.00 - $23,874.00 depending on experience.

Work Hours: Up to 24.8 hours per week
