Salary: $45,710 - $50,940 dependent on education and experience

Job Summary

Reporting to the RCAM Director of Operations, the Technical Coordinator is the point of contact for all technical issues at Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM). The Technical Coordinator is responsible for managing all RCAM assets, tools and supplies including ordering, tracking equipment inventory and project management.

Job Duties

• Manage, maintain and coordinate the technical assets of the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing to ensure program training quality and effectiveness

• Ensure programs are equipped to provide students and industry with up-to-date training equipment required for advanced manufacturing.

• Collaborate with industry partners and industrial suppliers to stay current with technology used in advanced manufacturing environments, while organizing the delivery of the training.

• Negotiate and ensure vendor quality of service for all RCAM equipment and assets.

• Serve as the point of contact for all technical related RCAM services and operations.

• Adhere to RCAM schedule and inclement weather policies, which may differ from other NESCC schedules and/or closures.

• Oversee installation of new equipment.

• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a certified technical training program, such as an industrial maintenance registered apprenticeship program.
• Five years of experience in advanced manufacturing.
• Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• AAS or higher in industrial maintenance or related field from an accredited institution.
• Conversational ability or fluency in a second language.
• Ten years of experience in advanced manufacturing maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Technology Skills: MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
• Ability to self-direct
• Ability to make sound decisions with limited supervision.
• Ability to learn new technology and apply the new technology in a lab environment
• Ability to coordinate and deliver online curriculum
