Assist station manager with various radio operations.
Job Duties:
Assist station manager with radio operations including production, scheduling or programming, preparing FCC reports, updating databases, cataloging music, and maintaining computers and software. Conduct training for students and volunteers as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) year experience with radio broadcast, or experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities, or equivalent education.
Preferred Qualifications:
A.S. or AAS Communication Degree or greater. Experience with audio editing and radio automation software. Better than average computer skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Radio production and computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and student populations. Knowledge of radio principles, procedures, operations, and standards. Knowledge and understanding of radio communications facilities and distribution systems. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Knowledge of inventory management practices. Knowledge of public radio organizational structures, workflows, systems, and operating procedures. Knowledge of FCC and other federal, state and local broadcasting regulations. Ability to oversee, coordinate, and support the execution of continuous broadcast schedules on a 24x7 basis. Skill in operating radio equipment.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
