Job Summary

The Temporary RCC Project Support Specialist provides critical administrative and operational support to ensure timely completion of RCCE grant deliverables as the college approaches the closeout of the project in Fall 2026. This position is responsible for a range of administrative, student-facing, and coordination duties aimed at embedding career readiness throughout the college experience.

The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, self-motivated professional with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of balancing project support and student engagement. This role is designed to offload time-intensive administrative functions, allowing the RCC Project Manager to focus on high-level initiatives such as Prior Learning Assessment (PLA/CPL) integration, curriculum alignment, and strategic grant reporting.

Job Duties

  • Provide daily administrative support to the RCC Project Manager, including meeting coordination, scheduling, task tracking, and communication across divisions.
  • Assist with inventory management, procurement coordination, and compliance tracking related to grant-funded materials.
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation required for TBR deliverables.
  • Coordinate logistics for RCC events, certificate fairs, showcases, and partner-facing activities.
  • Assist with data collection and entry to support institutional dashboards, student tracking, and grant reporting.
  • Maintain shared digital & manual filing systems (SharePoint, OneDrive) for easy cross-divisional access and audit readiness.
  • Utilize technology tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, career services software, spreadsheets, databases) to manage information and workflows efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support RCCE closeout and Career Services operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School completion.
  • At least 2 years of experience in higher education, workforce development, or executive administrative support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • Knowledge of Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) processes or student information systems.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or learning management systems (LMS).
  • Curriculum Development and Grant Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint) and comfort with databases and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Experience with data entry, scheduling, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in anticipating project needs.
  • Skilled at balancing administrative efficiency with student- and faculty-facing service.
  • Adaptability to manage both recurring tasks and emerging project needs.
