Salary: $19.00 per hour; Up to 27 hours per week
Job Summary
Reporting to the Program Director of Adult Education, the Testing Proctor provides instructional, registration, and intake orientation-related services for potential and current students and faculty on a daily basis. The position will administer and ensure secure testing across various locations. In addition, this position provides a variety of clerical duties in support of the Adult Education program.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or HSE (High school equivalency) required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Speak and read English fluently
• Minimum of 6 months of progressive professional work history related to customer service or within an office setting. History should include organizational skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience using data entry software.
• Demonstrated ability to use general office equipment (fax, copy, scanner, multi-phone system, etc.)
• Microsoft Office Skills - Word, Excel, and/or Outlook.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills (application documents will be reviewed for accuracy, and oral communication skills will be evaluated at the time of the interview).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a testing environment or other security systems.
• Fluent in MS Outlook for e-mail communications and scheduling.
• Previous work history of maintaining class, staff, and event schedules.
• Experience with setup and maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Technology Skills: MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
