** This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) position on a temporary contract **

Essential Functions
Program Innovation
Becomes a certified proctor for PearsonVue testing.
Assists as needed with additional exams given in the testing center (Accuplacer, CLEP, MOS, & TEAS).
Organizational Culture
Communicates clearly to large groups of examinees regarding testing guidelines and information.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Holistic Student Support
Provides general information regarding testing schedules and procedures for all exams.
Monitors examinees to ensure a secure and quiet test environment that supports testing integrity.
Fiscal Stewardship
Proctors online and conventional paper/pencil exams.
Maintains security and accountability of all exams.
Handles and reports technical irregularities or suspicious behavior to supervisor.
Performs various clerical functions such as filing, record keeping, and answering phones.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Daytime, evening & Saturday flexibility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. The ability to operate standard office equipment which includes basic computer knowledge of Excel and Word and multi-line phone, are required
Must have the ability to solve conflict fairly and amicably
Minimum Requirements
Education and Training: High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Education and training: Experience with proctoring exams, one year full-time experience in an educational setting and/or public contact.
