Title: Workforce and Accreditation Compliance Specialist

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or as needed to fulfill duties of the position.

General Duties:
The Accreditation and Workforce Compliance Specialist reports to the Vice President and is responsible for supporting institutional effectiveness, accreditation compliance, workforce reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a liaison among academic programs, administration, and external agencies to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and workforce development initiatives. The specialist assists with data collection, reporting, program review, assessment, and the implementation of processes that promote student success and institutional excellence.

The Accreditation and Workforce Compliance Specialist is responsible for conducting and/or managing:
Background checks will be completed on all new hires. Instructors will be asked to sign a background release authorizing TCAT - McMinnville to complete a background check which will include the following: Sex Offender Registry, County Criminal &Federal Criminal.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions (ADA REQUIREMENTS)
Walking, climbing, bending and stooping. Work performed in office, testing center and classroom environments. Position requires the use of a computer.
Sedentary Work – Walking or standing to a significant degree; sitting for brief periods of time; be able to bend and stoop; use body members (arms, hands, fingers).
Work includes occasional travel required to meetings, conferences, and training sessions. Some evening and weekend work may be required to support institutional activities and accreditation visits.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience, education and training according to Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
